We’ve been experimenting with some great custom cocktail ideas lately. Whether it’s how they’re served or the creation of custom concoctions, this is definitely something fun to consider that guests will really enjoy.
It’s no secret that this summer has been hot. Refreshing popsicles served in a glass of prosecco worked out great for outdoor cocktail receptions. Guests loved the cool down after outdoor ceremonies and during bridal luncheons.

A recent wedding incorporated after-dinner drinks into their meal service. Shots of Brandy Alexanders and our signature “Summit Express” were passed after dessert. The small size was just enough and complemented the other elements of the meal very well.
Martini bars are becoming a big trend. We hosted a reception where the bride and groom each had their own signature martini featured – the ‘Lizzy Tini’ and ‘Chad O’Chocolate Tini.’ We loved the idea of highlighting each of their favorites. Alternatively, you could create a drink together to serve to guests.
These are just a few of the things we’ve done.
The bartenders at The Broadmoor are top-notch and a great resource. They get excited when asked to be creative and help couples come up with fantastic cocktails for their wedding receptions.
Happy Planning!
